We are located in Roanoke, Virginia on a little over 10 acres of land with family on each side of us. So with children and dogs running around our puppies are well socialized with both. Plus we have horses, cats and parrots, for the puppies to meet and play with (of course excluding the parrots). We will be happy to make arrangements to meet you "halfway" to deliver your newest family member or even deliver him or her to you. We have been known to take the whole litter for a 3 hour drive when they were old enough so a family could meet us halfway and pick out their new family member. I am very passionate about animals and I try to help out as much as possible so a portion of our proceeds from each litter will go to support our local animal shelters. Hello and thank you for your
interest in Rutledge Park Labradoodles. I am a single mother of a precious boy.
My son was diagnosed with asthma when he was 2 years old and allergies to dogs
when he was 3 years old. The diagnosis of allergies to dogs was when I found out
about the Labradoodle breed from my
son's pulmonologist/allergist. Once I did some research I purchased our
Labradoodle, Molly, and fell in love
with her. When I was looking to purchase our Labradoodle I noticed the
prices of this wonderful breed being so expensive and I realized that families
with children that have asthma and/or allergies would not be able to pay these
prices due to the medical and prescription bills they pay monthly. I talked to
my Mother about the possibility of becoming my partner in breeding Labradoodles
since she used to breed Schnauzers when I was growing up. She too was excited
about this new venture and getting back into breeding. Our goal is to be able to
breed Labradoodles for families that have children with asthma and/or allergies
for a price they can afford. It means so much to us to be able to see other families with
asthma and/or allergies have the same opportunity to cuddle up with these
wonderful dogs. Plus the fact that they are just so "dog-on" adorable!
